Magnitude-4.7 Malibu Earthquake Shakes Southern California

Early Thursday morning, an earthquake struck near Malibu, shaking much of Southern California. The quake, initially reported as a magnitude 5.1, was later downgraded to 4.7. It occurred at 7:28 a.m., with a depth of approximately seven miles.
